THE SITUATION

In Hyundai's new commercial starring John Krasinski, live action takes center stage. At In Extremis Film Services, we contributed our technical expertise in coordinating stunt performers and managing action teams on set.

On this shoot, the challenge lay in the precision of the movements. Although we are leaders in physical effects such as fire and pneumatics, in this production our mission was to ensure that every maneuver by the stunt performers was fluid, safe, and visually stunning.

The titan is ready. We now have Europe's deepest water tank polished to perfection.

Alright, hands up anyone who thought we'd never finish it. Okay, yes, it was tough, but good things take time (and a lot of sweat). After fitting the pieces together like a Tetris game, stealing days from the calendar between projects to avoid inconveniencing anyone, we can finally say it loud and clear: the interior and exterior painting of the beast is COMPLETELY finished. It was no easy feat. Painting such a massive structure in phases, utilizing dead time between shoots and with water up to our necks (literally), was absolutely crazy. But at Inextremis, we don't know any other way to do things. If there isn't a bit of epic challenge and tension, it just doesn't feel right.

With this latest facelift, our deepest water tank in Europe is no longer just a technical beast; now, it also looks incredible. We now have a film set premium, meticulously detailed, and ready to host the biggest names in the industry.
